Condolence & Memory Journal

As my mother's older sister, I recall the stories of my aunt Josie taking her little sister on long treks, up and down Pittsburgh's city steps, selling tomatoes door to door.

This is just one little insight into a 101 year life, full of joys, sorrows, and experiences many of us simply cannot fathom.

I treasure memories of those now gone, and hope the memories of Josie, Dena, and Frank keep their mother alive in their lives.

Lovingly,
Frank Weber, son of Antoinette Magdalena et al Franze

I like to think Aunt Jose is at peace with her love, Uncle Frank. I treasured her yearly calls thanking me for my Christmas card and her advice always given with smile and a pointed finger. I will remember her stories and strength. My mom and I are feeling a deep void as we missing our visits together and talks. We find comfort that she is with her Frank and lived her 101 years her way.

My sister might be remembered for her strength and determined nature but her devotion to the memory of her husband Frank, and our talks about her life with him are something I will never forget. I can still hear her saying, "Frank was my one and only." Her voice also filled with pride whenever she mentioned her kids and grandkids. She was an amazing trooper and I will really miss her.

I feel so blessed that I got to know Aunt Josephine and Uncle Frank. They were so kind, loving, and always happy. I am sad that she has passed but happy that she will be with her beloved Frank in heaven.
